SINOPSIS:
By means of a journey through the life of the filmmaker Benito Ansola and with the writer Miren Agur Meabe by our side, we will travel through the history of Basque cinema, from the germ of both Basque cinema and of films made in the Basque language until their present-day efflorescence. But Miren Agur Meabe won’t be alone. On this voyage, we will have magnificent assistants. Myriad eminent Basque filmmakers who have played a lead part in and witnessed its evolution will tell us its story.

SOBRE EL DIRECTOR:
Naia Laka Arrizubieta (Bilbao, Bizkaia. 1990) has worked in editing and as an assistant producer and camera operator with the production company Signo Digital (2014-2017). In 2017 she worked as a social media manager and photographer at the Spanish CUltural Centre in Mexico through the Global Training scholarships. From 2017 to 2019 she worked in camera operating, editing and film project creation at the Traola Produkzioak SL production company and, in 2021 and 2022, as a researcher with the NOR research group at the University of the Basque Country Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication. Her latest project has been writing the screenplay for and directing the documentary Zortzitik infinitura for Traola Produkzioak SL.
