Where do we begin?
For those of you living under a rock, Jaialdi is at the end of this month. But, do you know about EVERYTHING that’s going on in Boise? Look, we don’t know every single detail (it’s a lot!), but we’ll tell you what we’re super excited about (maybe ever so slightly because the BEO has partnered with some of these)…
We should note a couple of things: Jaialdi events begin on July 29th; however, there are other non-Jaialdi Basque events simultaneously happening. You can find out about everything by clicking the button below.
Tuesday, July 29th
We’ve partnered with the Basque Museum to host a Zinema Eguna (Cinema Day) at the Flicks Theater in Downtown Boise. CLICK HERE to get the details of what will be a very fun day at the movies, watching some pretty great Basque films (with English subtitles).
Wednesday + Thursday, July 30th-31st
Zortziak Bat, the International Symposium on the Basque Diaspora and Cultural Expressions, is an educational gathering dedicated to exploring the Basque Diaspora across the globe. Here’s what we love: The host, the Basque Studies Foundation, recognizes the value of learning through the creative process, so this event has brought together some amazing creatives to be a part of what promises to be a very fun and insightful event.
