ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Borja Cobeaga combined his work as a television director (first season of Vaya Semanita in 2003 on ETB) with directing and writing short films such as La primera vez (2001) and …ramos pocos (2005), winners of more than 100 international awards plus a Goya and an Academy Award nomination respectively. Prior to Negociador, he directed the feature films Pagafantas (2009) and No controles (2010), in addition to the short films Limoncello (2007), Un novio de mierda (2010) and Democracia (2013). He also co-wrote the films Amigos (2011) and 8 apellidos vascos (Spanish Affair, 2014).
