Description
Gure Bazterrak, which, if it were easy to translate the nuances of the Basque language, could be transcribed as «our land », represents the visceral attachment of the inhabitants to this land and is Rearick’s love song to those she has loved and still loves there. Her photography is primarily taken in Iparralde.
“It’s difficult to put into words how beautifully Anne Rearick’s photography captures the Basque people and their connection to nature… but her work is magic.”
This book has received significant press, including in Vanity Fair, which listed it as one of its “6 Visual Books for Your Favorite Art Lover” in November of last year. See for yourself.
